Vita Health Products was founded in 1936 by G.W. Seier. Over the years, Vita has grown to become a leading supplier of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and natural health products to the store brand industry.

Vita Health's remarkable growth led to its first expansion in 1993 - a move that doubled the size of its Winnipeg operation to 105,000 square feet.

Vita currently offers over 197 bulk formulations including 73 OTC and 122 VMS bulks. Eighty percent of all products are manufactured in-house. Over 1300 finished good skus are actively produced with the majority make-to-stock and make-to-order when required.

Vita produces finished goods for both Private Label and Contract Manufacturing markets, including:

• The manufacturer of private label finished goods for all Canadian major retailers in the mass-market, grocery and drug outlets including Wal-Mart, Costco, Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart.
  
• Partnering with a number of the Top 20 Big Pharma companies on producing bulks to their exact specifications. Received the prestigious Bayer® - North American Premier Supplier Award.
